Emerald Environmental

 

Emerald Environmental, Inc. (EEI) was founded by William McCarthy and incorporated in the State of New York in March 1988.  After serving a tour in the United States Marine Corps, Bill became an industrial safety officer with the Long Island Lighting Company from 1963 to 1984 and with the Grumman Corporation from 1984 to 1988.  Using his vast experience gained over 24 years, he started EEI from his home in Brentwood, NY.  EEI is now headquartered in Westbury, NY with its administrative office in Schodack, NY.

 

In 2014, Bill turned over ownership to his son, Gregory McCarthy, and long time friend, Michael Tuttle. Both Greg and Michael also served in the Marine Corps and are both veterans of the war on terrorism.
